Fresh food, local flavor, and weekly community connection

Santa Clarita hosts multiple certified farmers markets throughout the week, each one offering fresh produce, artisanal goods, and a neighborhood-centered vibe. Whether you're shopping for organic strawberries, handmade soaps, or a hot breakfast burrito, these markets bring the valley together in the best way.

Here’s where to find them:

  • Old Town Newhall Farmers Market

Located at the Newhall Library parking lot, this is one of the most popular markets in SCV — with chef-curated produce, sustainably raised meats, baked goods, flowers, and locally roasted coffee.

  • College of the Canyons Farmers Market

    Sundays, 8:30 AM–12:00 PM

Held in Parking Lot 8 near Valencia Blvd. This is SCV’s largest market, with live music, hot food vendors, produce stands, and rotating specialty booths.

  • Canyon Country Farmers Market

    Wednesdays, 4:00 PM–8:00 PM

Located in the parking lot at the Canyon Country Community Center — a midweek favorite for fresh picks, ready-to-eat dinners, and easy parking.

  • Route 66 Farmers Market

Saturdays or Sundays – Hours vary

Tucked behind Six Flags Magic Mountain, this market serves the west side of the valley and offers a solid mix of produce, snacks, and family-friendly vendors.

EBT Accepted — With Bonus Matching

The Old Town Newhall and College of the Canyons markets both participate in the Market Match Program. At the visitor booth, you can swipe your EBT card and receive $1 wooden tokens, which are accepted by most food vendors. You’ll also get up to $20 in matching tokens for fresh fruits and vegetables — doubling your healthy food dollars and supporting local farms in the process.
